Key FindingsView the policy document
This policy regulates the manufacture, import and trade of any toiletries used to exfoliate or cleanse that contain plastic microbeads, including non-prescription drugs and natural health products. There was insufficient evidence available to evaluate this policy, however some sources suggest that enforcement is effective (Porter, 2019; Ganesh, 2019).
